This Has Nothing To Do With Knitting

Man oh man… I will be dating myself here, but really do I care? nope.

Who out there remembers Black Sheep? (shit, I think I hear crickets) All I can say is that this song was one of my fave songs in high school. I remember we would all completely freak out when this song would come on at school dances.

Now…

They’ve taken one of my fave hip hop songs of the 90′s and mixed it with… well… you’ll see. This commercial made my day. Holy crap it’s brilliant.

Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

This song made my weekend at the cottage. I’ve had it on repeat ever since and I had to post about it. There something about this song that just takes me away to a happy place no matter what… so awesome. Enjoy!

Mumford & Sons – My New Happiness

One of my fave twitter friends, Steve, sent me a mix of some of his fave songs when I really needed some cheering up. I must say, it’s quite the awesome e-mix-tape. On there, are a few Mumford & Son’s songs. I completely fell in love with them. There’s actually A LOT of bands that I never heard of that I love.

Today though… Mumford & Sons are my happiness. I love them so much.

Here’s one of my fave songs of theirs:

And this is a little clip about them in general that I LOVE:

There’s something about them that just makes me smile… I love it.

This Time, baby, I’ll be bulletproof.

Oh La Roux….

We’ve had about 3 consecutive days of what is starting to feel like spring. Warm sunshine, no snow, birds chirping… it’s awesome.

The effect that bright warm sun has on me, is almost the same as the feeling this song gives me. I love La Roux. I think she’s beyond adorable and I LOVE her voice.

Happy Birthday Johnny Cash!

I’ve decided to start a music section, and what better day to start that than the man in black’s birthday. I’m not only super passionate about knitting, I am also a lover of music. So much so that I got a job in that industry :) So, if you have any musical suggestions for me (please dont send me “hey my friend is in a band and you should sign them” links cause i dont have that kind of power lol) please do post a comment.

So without further ado, ladies and gentleman, the amazing Mr. Johnny Cash. One of my all time faves.
