I’ve Missed You All So Much

Man, I really do miss all the lovely ladies and gents that to me, had become my “knitting family”. It’s still been really hard for me to get my butt in gear and get back online. I don’t know why… but it seems to just be the hardest thing for me to do. I did however want to come back, even if it’s just for a bit till baby comes and let you guys know what I’ve been up to :) Hopefully I can keep updating after baby comes too!

FIRST

So far so good with the pregnancy!!! I’m getting to the point where I barely sleep now but all in all… I can’t really complain too much. We were told that we’re having a girl :) Now they say that there is still a small chance that it can be a boy, but for now, we’re all in “it’s a girl” mode :) The nursery is pretty well all set up. Just need some window dressings and I think we’re good. We’re 10 weeks away from meeting our little one! As much as I can’t wait, I’m also scared shitless. It’s the weirdest feeling I tell ya. But I know that in the end, it will all be worth it :)

SECOND

I’VE BEEN KNITTING!!!!!! Yup, I’ve been knitting. I started with a suggestion from Sarah (@killerlashes) for a sweater/wrap thingie that would accommodate my growing belly. I’ve finished it finally, but need to weave in the ends and block it. I guess I should do that soon huh? lol This is the pattern I used. Pics of me wearing it soon I hope :)

I’ve also been knitting some baby things :) Man are these ever QUICK to knit!!! I’ve knit one cardigan so far and am almost finished the itty bitty cabled cardi AND am half way done the dress :)

This I’m making this with a skein of purple hand dyed Tanis Fiber Arts :) I’m making it for when she’s first born. It’s sooooo teeny!!!

So, that’s me for now :) Just slowly knitting away and counting the days till we meet our little one. I’ll do my best to at the very least keep updating my blog. Miss you guys a ton!!!!!!!! Oh!!!!!! and this was me just before xmas :) the bump is coming along nicely! lol My belly is much bigger now as it’s been over 4 weeks since that pic was taken :)
