Moving On Up… Well, East Actually!

Well, we did it. We found a house that we both LOVE. We had been looking for a new house since I got pregnant and last week… well, last week… we found our dream home! We didnt think we would get it because of the crazy bidding wars in Toronto, but somehow… the house gods looked down upon us and gave us a break :D

We’re moving to Scarborough which is a little more east than where we are now. The ‘hood’ we’ll be living in is called the bluffs. It’s SOOOOO beautiful there. We’ll be super close to the water and super close to this awesome view (this is just at the end of our street)

The best part is… I get to have a craft room again!!!!!!! The house comes with an office upstairs with a built in desk and shelves. It’s perfect for yarn, books, buttons, needles… you name it! I’m so excited to be able to see my stash again. I dont get to design the room because of the built ins… but I will for sure make it my own :) I cant wait to take pics and show you guys the progression.

Our house just went on the market today. Fingers crossed that it sells for what we would like! In order to get the house ready for showings, I ended up finding a bunch of UFO’s including these fingerless mitts I was making for a special someone:

I managed to get the last 4 rows done and now I can start on the second one. I’m not gonna say who they’re for yet as they will be getting these for their bday :) I also found some more of my Debbie Stoller Full O’Sheep yarn. I couldnt resist setting them out neatly in a basket:

In other news… the little one is doing awesome. She’s starting to want to sit up on her own and can hold her head up all by herself!! She’s awake more during the day (which is why this post took me 3 days to write!) and she LOVES being walked around the house facing forward! lol I must admit that I’m so beyond in love with her. I cant wait to hear her first words!! eeeee!

Ok, I hear her squirming about so I will have to get going. Happy knitting everyone! Oh but wait… just one more pic :)
