On To The Next! Little Collonade Shawl

It was thanks to a post on the knitty blog that I found this Shawl. A pic was posted of Stephen West modeling this lovely little number called Little Collonade. I knew right away that it was meant for my yummy yarn that I purchased from Rachel of On The Round. I cast on last night and just started knitting away. Everytime the color would change from blue to yellow, I kept thinking… there is no other skein like this one… it’s because of how Rachel dyed this that it’s turning out the way it is. I’ve never dyed yarn before, and I sure as hell have no idea if there’s a “science” to it… but I kept wondering if Rachel KNEW it would knit up like this (no I was not stoned or drunk!) lol

Anyhoo, I’m completely in love with how this is knitting up. It reminds me of being back on the little island I call home in the Azores :)
