Random Act Of Awesomeness AKA Kindness

My husband and I were so moved by the kindness of Nichole and Janet that I just had to make a post about it. Now, before I get into this… let me tell you a bit about Nichole and Janet :)

First, I know they’re gonna kill me for this… BUT… everyone meet Janet:

and everyone… say hello to Nichole:

I met Nichole and Janet when I was working with the band Hedley. At the time, I ran their website and did some video stuff for them. Janet and Nichole are 2 of the head moderators of the Hedley message board. And let me tell you… they kick ass. They work harder for that band that I did I’m sure!!!! ;)

So that’s how it started… that’s how I met Nichole and Janet :) They’re super awesome and some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I haven’t done much work with the band so I dont get to talk to them as much as I used to. We always keep in touch every now and then on facebook and email but I unfortunately haven’t seen them in a while.

It’s now Tuesday (yesterday)… I walk into my office and there’s this HUGE bag on my chair that I can barely lift cause of my belly. I was away monday afternoon at a doctors appt so I missed the delivery. I really had no idea why it was there so I slowly started removing the tissue paper and found a card. It was the cutest card wishing Rich and I the best with the arrival of our little one… signed… Janet and Nichole. I cannot express the shock I was in. I was completely dumbfounded as I kept removing item upon item from the bag. It was like a bottomless pit!!! I honestly couldnt believe their kindness. Well, I could believe their kindness cause like I said, they’re two of the most awesome people I know. But I couldnt believe that they thought of us! I honestly didnt know what to do or how to even thank them. I still dont. I’m just a little web designer that works with bands and happen to get to meet cool people along the way. Janet and Nichole being some of those :) I’m still dumbfounded and speechless. Honestly. They didnt have to get us anything. But they did. And for that, I’m super thankful!

Rich took a pic of all the stuff they got us. They even got me some super awesome bath stuff from bath and body works (my fave!) they know me all too well :)

See what I mean?? I honestly couldnt believe what they got us. It was so thoughtful and kind. You know… people like Janet and Nichole are few and far between…. so I’m grateful that I happen to know 2 awesome people like them.

Again, Janet, Nichole… thank you so very much. I will have to find a way to say thank you :)
