Travelling Woman Shawl – FO

I must say, this pattern was a lot of fun to knit, but once i memorized the pattern it became a little repetitive after the 6th lace repeat. Mind you, it was MY crazy idea to do 11 repeats of the lace ;)

I loved loved loved this colorway but it did nicely stain my fingers and my needles a lovely dark brown.

Once I finished blocking it, I realized how huge the wingspan was. I was actually kinda blown away! lol All I know, is that my grandma is gonna be able to really snuggle up with it. I can’t wait for her to get it….

I couldn’t actually hold it end to end and not have it droop so I used my tree and some clothes pins :)

    It’s lovely :)
I suppose there’s worse colors for fingers to be stained. Hopefully they weren’t expensive needles?

    thank you Julie!!!

Ariane: I thought it was wierd too! maybe because to get the really dark brown the dye had to soak longer? i know close to nothing about dying yarn so that’s about all i could guess.
